Description
Your ESA letter will be good for one year and will satisfy the requirements set forth by FHA/HUD and/or ACAA and allow you to bring an emotional support animal with you during travel (per airline) or for housing (home, apartment, or dorm).
In order for your emotional support animal to be legally recognized, a signed letter from a licensed physician is required. Without this signed letter, landlords and school administrators may not allow your ESA on the premises.
Your letter will include your name, your ESA’s name and picture, and the issue date along with the physician’s contact information. In addition, the physician will complete reasonable accommodation documents from your landlord or school official for no extra cost.
